Tunable electro-optic metasurfaces have proven to be excellent platforms when it comes to compact and fast modulation of free space light [1] which makes them relevant for applications like coherent laser ranging[2] and fast spatial light modulators. In this work, we use hybrid organic electro-optic metasurfaces to engineer the optical and electronic properties of a laser diode through optical feedback.
