An angular analysis of the decay

{B}_s^0

→ ϕe + e − is presented, using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector between 2011 and 2018 at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV. The combined dataset corresponds to an integrated ...

Using (10087±44)×106 J/ψ decays collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we search for baryon number violation via Λ-Λ¯ oscillation in the decay J/ψ→ΛΛ¯. No evidence for Λ-Λ¯ oscillation is observed. The upper limit on the time-integrated p ...

The first measurement of ϕ (1020) meson production in fixed-target p Ne collisions at

\sqrt{s_{NN}}

By analyzing 7.93 fb(-1) of e(+)e(-) collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector operated at the BEPCII collider, we report the observation of the semimuonic decays of D+ -> (K) over bar (1) (1270)(0)mu(+)nu( ...

We prove local (in space and time) well-posedness for a mildly regularised version of the stochastic quantisation of the Yukawa(2) Euclidean field theory with a self-interacting boson. Our regularised dynamic is still singular but avoids non-local divergen ...

Using a dataset of (27.12 +/- 0.14) x 10(8) psi(3686) events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, we report the first observation of the decay psi(3686) -> Sigma(0)(Sigma) over bar (0)omega. with a statistical significance of ...

The rare electromagnetic J/psi -> mu(+)mu(-)mu(+)mu(-) decay is observed with a significance greatly exceeding the discovery threshold, using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment during 2016-2018 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 Te ...

We present a study of the semileptonic decay D-0 -> pi(-)pi(0)e(+)nu(e) using an e(+)e(-) annihilation data sample of 7.93 fb(-1) collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector. The branching fraction of D-0 -> rho(770)(-) e(+ ...

The Λb0 → D+D−Λ decay is observed for the first time using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.3 fb−1. Using the B0 → D+D−KS0 decay as a referenc ...

We search for the radiative decays D+ → γρ+ and D+ → γK*+ using 20.3 fb−1 of e+e− annihilation data collected at the center-of-mass energy s = 3.773 GeV by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider. No significant signals are observed, and the u ...

We report the experimental observation of large spin -pumping signals in the YIG/Pt system driven by broad -wave -vector spin -wave spin current. 280-nm-wide microwave inductive antennas offer broad -wavevector excitation, which, in combination with the qu ...

This paper reports the observation of the decays

B_{(s)}^{0}\to D_{s1}(2536)^{\mp}K^{\pm}

using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of

9\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}

. The branching fractions of ...

The ratio of branching fractions of Bc+→Bs0π+ and Bc+→J/ψπ+ decays is measured with proton-proton collision data of a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The data were collected with the LHCb experiment during 2016–2018, corresponding to an integrated luminos ...

Reflectivity modulation is a critical feature for applicationsin telecommunications, 3D imaging and printing, advanced laser machining,or portable displays. Tunable metasurfaces have recently emerged asa promising implementation for miniaturized and high-p ...

A search for the decay B-0 -> phi mu(+) mu(-) is performed using proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV collected by the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1). No evidence for the B-0 -> ...

The first study of the angular distribution of μ+μ- pairs produced in the forward rapidity region via the Drell-Yan reaction pp→γ*/Z+X→ℓ+ℓ-+X is presented, using data collected with the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to a ...

A high-quality, low-cost ventilator, dubbed HEV, has been developed by the particle physics community working together with biomedical engineers and physicians around the world. The HEV design is suitable for use both in and out of hospital intensive care ...

A long, narrow, relativistic charged particle bunch propagating in plasma is subject to the self -modulation (SM) instability. We show that SM of a proton bunch can be seeded by the wakefields driven by a preceding electron bunch. SM timing reproducibility ...

Microswimmers are ubiquitous in nature and present highly-dynamic collective motion. This study presents computational simulations of spheroidal model-microswimmers confined between two walls, revealing two collective dynamic states, giant motile clusters ...

This paper studies the continuous-domain inverse problem of recovering Radon measures on the one-dimensional torus from low-frequency Fourier coefficients, where K (c) is the cutoff frequency. Our approach consists in minimizing the total-variation norm am ...
