An analysis of the flavour oscillations of the charmed neutral meson is presented. The ratio of D0 → K+π− and D0 → K−π+ decay rates is measured as a function of the decay time of the D0 meson and compared with the charge-conjugated system to search for cha ...

The branching fraction ratios of (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) decays are measured with respect to their muonic counterparts, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of (Formula presented) collected by the LHCb experimen ...

Studies are performed of the Cabibbo-favored decay Lambda(+)(c) -> Lambda(KSK+)-K-0 and the singly Cabibbosuppressed decay Lambda(+)(c) -> Lambda K-S(0)pi(+), based on a sample of e(+)e(-) collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.5 fb ...

By analyzing e + e − collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb −1, we measure the branching fractions of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed (DCS) decays D 0 ...

After an upgrade in 2019-2021, the LHCb experiment is taking data in Run 3 (2022-2026) with an instantaneous luminosity of proton-proton collisions of 2×1033 cm2s-1. This article presents the Radiation Monitoring System (RMS-R3) for controlling the beam an ...

A measurement of CP-violating observables in B-+/-->(DK +/-)-K-& lowast; and B-+/--> D-& lowast;pi(+/-) decays is made where the photon or neutral pion from the D-& lowast;-> D gamma or D-& lowast;-> D pi(0) decay is not reconstructed. The D meson is recon ...

A search is reported for charge-parity CP violation in D-0 -> (KSKS0)-K-0 decays, using data collected in proton-proton collisions at root s =13 TeV recorded by the CMS experiment in 2018. The analysis uses a dedicated data set that corresponds to an integ ...

A search is presented for a third-generation leptoquark (LQ) coupled exclusively to a tau lepton and a b quark. The search is based on proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recorded with the CMS detector, corresponding to an int ...

Two-particle correlations are presented for K-S(0), Lambda, and (Lambda) over bar strange hadrons as a function of relative momentum in lead-lead collisions at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV. The dataset corresponds to an integrated lu ...

The results of a search for stealth supersymmetry in final states with two photons and jets, targeting a phase space region with low missing transverse momentum (p(miss) (T)), are reported. The study is based on a sample of proton-proton collisions at root ...

Particle segregation is a widespread process that affects particle composition in granular materials. Particles tend to segregate into distinct regions according to their size, density, and shape. To date, most studies investigate particles segregating in ...

A measurement of the CP-violating observables from B± → DK± and B± → Dπ± decays is presented, where D*(D) is an admixture of D*0 and D(-)0 (D0 and D(-)0) states and is reconstructed through the decay chains D → Dπ0/γ and D → K(S)0π(+)π(-)/K(S)0K(+)K ...

The second-order (v(2)) and third-order (v(3)) Fourier coefficients describing the azimuthal anisotropy of prompt and nonprompt (from b-hadron decays) J/ψ, as well as prompt ψ(2S) mesons are measured in lead-lead collisions at a center-of-mass energy per n ...

Using data samples with an integrated luminosity of 5.85 fb(-1) collected at center-of-mass energies from 4.61 to 4.95 GeV with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, we measure the cross section for the process e(+)e(-) -> K+ K- J/psi. ...

The first observation of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed Ω0 c → Ω−K+ and Ω0 c → Ξ−π+ decays is reported, using proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb−1, collected with the LHCb d ...

Resonant structures in the dipion mass spectrum from χc1ð3872Þ→πþπ−J=ψdecays, produced via Bþ→Kþχc1ð3872Þdecays, are analyzed using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1. A sizeab ...

Single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs), also referred to as Geiger-mode avalanche photodiodes, are primarily utilized in photon detection and counting. In this work, we present a measurement of the time-of-flight of minimum ionizing particles with outstand ...
