Abstract

The present invention relates to a pump (1) implantable in a human or animal body and comprising :an airtight casing (10),a dielectric elastomer tube (20) extending within said casing (10), arranged so that a volume (22) within said dielectric elastomer tube (20) is modified when a voltage is applied to said dielectric elastomer tube;a negative pressure chamber (n) between said dielectric elastomer tube (20) and said casing (10).the casing comprises two lateral edges (100a, 100b). the dielectric elastomer tube (a) is longitudinally pre-strained between those lateral edges.
