This publication brings together the revised photographic documentation of the vernacular architecture models produced between 1962 and 1992 within the teaching framework of Professor Frédéric Aubry at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Preserved at the Archives de la construction moderne (ACM), this collection of approximately six hundred models illustrates the diversity of constructive solutions associated with geographically varied contexts across several continents: rural and alpine dwellings, earthen structures, demountable architectures, troglodytic constructions, timber-frame systems, stone or earthen masonry, and structures relying on plant fibres, bamboo, or metal. This edition presents the inventory and visual documentation produced between 2005 and 2008 during the review of the collection and subsequently revised up to 2024.
