This chapter explores dual-band telemetry systems and presents a dual-band inductive link operating at 6.78 and 13.56 MHz within the industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) frequency bands. The primary goal is to enable wireless power and data transmission for multisite biomedical implants. To minimize magnetic interference between coils and optimize the area, a single-coil transmitter configuration is adopted in the presented design. Additionally, this chapter examines the benefits of using various planar coil shapes, including square, circular, and octagonal topologies. The proposed link ensures a reliable power supply for electronic circuits while supporting downlink data communication.
