The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus to compute a complex wavefield, referred to as the object wave o, by means of measuring the intensity signal resulting from the interference of the said object wave with a second wave termed the ref ...

Simultaneous measurement of multidimensional displacements using digital holographic interferometry involves multi-directional illumination of the deformed object and requires the reliable estimation of the resulting multiple interference phase distributio ...

This thesis presents a novel approach for optical tri-dimensional contouring, requiring only one acquisition to extract a contour depth. It is based on an interferometric setup, using a reduced coherence light source, and is fully adaptable to endoscopic p ...

This paper proposes a new approach for the analysis of reconstructed interference fields in digital holographic interferometry. In the proposed approach the interference phase to be estimated is conceived as a piecewise polynomial signal; consequently, eac ...

The thesis introduces novel techniques in the field of fringe analysis for direct estimation of phase gradients or derivatives. A pseudo Wigner-Ville distribution based method is proposed to reliably estimate the phase derivatives from a single fringe patt ...

A new formalism is derived for the analysis and exact reconstruction of band-limited signals on the sphere with directional wavelets. It represents an evolution of a previously developed wavelet formalism developed by Antoine & Vandergheynst and Wiaux et a ...

This paper proposes an elegant technique for the simultaneous measurement of in-plane and out-of-plane displacements of a deformed object in digital holographic interferometry. The measurement relies on simultaneously illuminating the object from multiple ...
