Expertise Environmental policy and governance, in particularly related to embodied environmental impacts. Current Work Nino is currently working on the "Sustainable and Resilient Energy for Switzerland" project. Nino has been addressing environmental challenges since 2010, starting with the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy and later working with the UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources.He earned degrees in political science and international relations from the University of Bremen. As part of his academic journey, he studied international political economy at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires and conducted doctoral research at Yale University. Nino completed his PhD thesis on climate policy and the governance of embodied emissions at the UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources. ResearchCurrent Research Fields Nino's research focuses on environmental policy and governance, with a particular emphasis on climate policy, the governance of embodied environmental impacts, resource efficiency, and eco-innovation. Currently, his main focus is on investigating policy instruments that regulate the emissions embodied in products -- why they arise, how they differ, and what their consequences would be.
