Durable and efficient anion exchange polyelectrolytes (AEPs) are crucial for the long-term operation of cost-effective anion exchange membrane fuel cells (AEMFCs) and water electrolyzers (AEMWEs). Here, we present a new class of ?-amine-piperidinium-functi ...

Anion exchange membrane water electrolyzer (AEMWE) is a rising technology that offers potential advantages in cost and scalability over proton exchange membrane water electrolyzer (PEMWE) technology. However, AEMWEs that stably operate in pure water still ...

Zero-gap membrane electrode assembly (MEA) CO electrolyzer stands as a promising technology for circular carbon economy. However, current CO electrolyzers are energetically inefficient when operating at ampere-level current densities. Here, by analyzing th ...

Anionic exchange membrane (AEM) water electrolyzers are emerging as a cost-effective technology for green hydrogen production. However, state-of-the-art AEM electrolyzers rely on platinum group metal (PGM) catalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER ...

Anion-exchange-membrane fuel cells (AEMFCs) are a cost-effective alternative to proton-exchange-membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). The development of high-performance and durable AEMFCs requires highly conductive and robust anion-exchange membranes (AEMs). Howe ...

The present specification relates to a fluorinated polyaromatic polymer comprising • at least one fluorinated unit FU of formula (I) and • at least one cationic unit CU of formula B or C. ...
