Michail VlachosTeaching & PhD Courses Data science and machine learning MGT-502 Hands-on introduction to data science and machine learning. We explore recommender systems, generative AI, chatbots, graphs, as well as regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction, text analytics, neural networks. The course consists of lectures and coding sessions using Python.
Zoë HolmesTeaching & PhD PhD Students Ricard Puig, Sacha Lerch, Reyhaneh Aghaei Saem, Shao Hen Chiew, Weijie Xiong, Marc Sanz Drudis, Mehrad Sahebi, Manuel Rudolph Courses Quantum information theory PHYS-550 After recapping the basics of quantum theory from an informationtheoretic perspective, we will cover more advanced topics inquantum information theory. This includes introducing measures of quantum information, and developing a more advanced understanding quantum states, channels and measurement
Pasquale Davide SchiavoneTeaching & PhD Courses Design technologies for integrated systems CS-472 Hardware compilation is the process of transforming specialized hardware description languages into circuit descriptions, which are iteratively refined, detailed and optimized. The course presents algorithms, tools and methods for hardware compilation and logic synthesis.
