Expertise Daylight, Visual comfort, Glazing system, User perception, Glare sensitivity Sneha Jain recently completed her PhD thesis on the topic "Discomfort glare from daylight: Influence of transmitted color and macular pigment". Her research primarily focuses on improving the visual comfort in buildings by gaining a better understanding of what causes or influences our perception of discomfort glare. Sneha is working on extending the applicability of current discomfort glare models by including the effect of spectrum light sources and human ocular factors in the current glare models. She has a bachelors in architecture and a Masters in Building Science. She also worked as a research fellow at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab in Berkeley, California.
