Eunok received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from KAIST, Korea, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. She pursued her Ph.D study in fluid dynamics at LadHyX, Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France and received her degree in 2015.She was at M2P2, Aix-Marseille University for a year as a postdoc in 2016 then joined EPFL as a postdoc researcher until 2020 at LFMI. She broadened her expertise at industry, GE Renewable Energy, Hydropower from 2020 to 2024. She started as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering department at EPFL, Lausanne since 2024.Her research interest therefore encompasses fluid stabilities, CFD numerical modeling and applied fluid dynamics for hydropower researches. Education PhD | Hydrodynamics Lab. (LadHyX) 2012 – 2015 École Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France M.Sc | Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics Lab. 2010 – 2012 KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea B.Sc | Mechanical Engineering 2006 – 2010 KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea Teaching & PhD PhD Students Lester Corpin Toledo, Ahmet Cagdas Kalayci Courses Introduction to turbomachinery ME-342 The course provides a foundational understanding of turbomachines, covering their classification, fundamental principles of fluid mechanics and key performance parameters. It delves into coordinate systems, velocity analysis, and the application of conservation laws to turbomachinery.
