The development of a sequential copper-catalyzed oxy-alkynylation/intramolecular [4+2] cycloaddition of allenes and arenes was investigated at first. This one-pot protocol allowed the construction of complex polycylic architectures with high efficiency fro ...

Multicomponent reactions provide efficient means to access molecular complexity. Herein, we report a copper-catalyzed three-component reaction of diazo compounds, alcohols and ethynyl benziodoxole (EBX) reagents for the synthesis of propargyl ethers. Exten ...

The gem-aminoalkynylation of fluorinated diazo compounds catalyzed by a simple Cu(I) salt is described. This three-component reaction allows the synthesis of propargylic amines with broad functional group tolerance. Both electron-rich and electron-poor ani ...

A copper(I)-catalyzed vinylation of diazo compounds with vinylbenziodoxolone reagents (VBX) as partners is reported. The transformation tolerates diverse functionalities on both reagents delivering polyfunctionalized vinylated products. The strategy was su ...

The intramolecular [4+2] cycloaddition between arenes and allenes first reported by Himbert gives rapid access to rigid polycyclic scaffolds. Herein, we report a one‐pot oxyalkynylation/cycloaddition reaction proceeding under mild conditions (23–90 °C) and ...

Cyclic hypervalent iodine reagents are now frequently used in synthetic organic chemistry, either as oxidants or group-transfer reagents. Vinylbenziodoxol(on)es (VBXs) bearing alkene substituents have been less investigated than the corresponding trifluoro ...
