Developing large arrays of single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs) with on-chip time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) capabilities continues to be a difficult task due to stringent silicon real estate constraints, high data rates and system complex ...

We realized subsurface fluorescence LiDAR with a large format single-photon avalanche diode array capable of localizing and quantifying concentration of fluorescent molecules in heavily scattering media, such as tissue, with submillimeter depth accuracy. ( ...

Spectrometry of a quantum state of light is a fundamental challenge with practical implications. Here, we demonstrate how such a technique can super-resolve the exciton and biexciton energies in a single quantum dot at room temperature. ...

Correlation plenoptic imaging (CPI) is a novel technological imaging modality enabling to overcome drawbacks of standard plenoptic devices, while preserving their advantages. However, a major challenge in view of real-time application of CPI is related to ...

We describe the performance of a new wide area time-gated single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) array for phasor-FLIM, exploring the effect of gate length, gate number and signal intensity on the measured lifetime accuracy and precision. We conclude that th ...

A light spectrometer including a laser configured to provide for a laser pulse (12), a quantum dot (30), an objective (21) configured to focus the laser pulse (12) onto the quantum dot (30) such that a fluorescent light beam is emitted from the quantum dot ...

We report a deep RNN model for temporal point spread function (TPSFs) deconvolution in multimodal imaging systems to extract true sample fluorescence decay rate. It’s performance has been validated in phantom and well-plate data. ...

SPAD (single-photon avalanche diode) arrays are single-photon sensors, which enable photon counting and unparalleled time-resolved imaging. In this paper, we will detail the architecture and characteristics of three representative SPAD arrays, implemented ...
