Hybrid perovskite solar cells have attracted tremendous interest in the photovoltaic community. Despite their high defect tolerance, reducing the trap density by material engineering and surface modification is still critical to further boost performance. ...

While perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have recently experienced a rapid rise in power conversion efficiency (PCE), the prevailing PSCs still contain nondesirable defects in the interior and interface of the perovskite layer, which limits further enhancement ...

The teachings herein relate to hole transport compounds containing cyclobutyl moieties that can be made into organic hole conductors and hole transport materials. Furthermore, optoelectronic and photoelectrochemical devices, in particular photovoltaic devi ...

Thermoelectric effects are more sensitive and promising probes to topological properties of emergent materials, but much less addressed compared to other physical properties. We study the thermoelectric effects of ZrTe5 in a magnetic field. The presence of ...

Surface defects of perovskite films are the major sources of nonradiative recombination which limit the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells. Surface passivation represents one of the most efficient strategies to solve this problem. Herein, f ...

In the framework of EU design activities for dimensioning the future fusion DEMOnstration reactor (DEMO), in-depth analyses were conducted in EUROfusion context, aiming to define the design of the DEMO magnets system. For the last DEMO baseline, CEA has pr ...

Despite recent increases in perovskite solar cell (PSC) efficiencies, long-term stability remains a barrier to manufacturing and marketing. SnO2 electron transport layers enable the low-temperature processing of planer n-i-p structured PSCs. However, ultra ...

The efficiency of perovskite solar cells based on mesoscopic TiO2 was soaring over the past 3 years and is expected to reach over 25% by engineering the compn. of perovskite and interface layers. Efforts to increase the power conversion efficiency (PCE) o ...

The production fractions of (B) over bar (0)(s) and Lambda(0)(b) hadrons, normalized to the sum of B- and (B) over bar (0) fractions, arc measured in 13 TeV pp collisions using data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosit ...

Results are reported from a search for the rare decays B-s(0) -> tau(+/-)mu(+/-) 1T and B -> tau(+/-)mu(+/-), where the r lepton is reconstructed in the channel r- irrg vr. These processes are effectively forbidden in the standard model, hut they can poten ...

In this study, a series of donor-acceptor-donor (D-A-D) type small molecules based on the fluorene and diphenylethenyl enamine units, which are distinguished by different acceptors, as holetransporting materials (HTMs) for perovskite solar cells is present ...

Although the published values of power conversion efficiency (PCE) have increased continuously in recent years for perovskite solar cells (PSCs), improvements in the stability and performance of PSCs with conventional TiO2 or SnO2 electron transport layers ...

Hole-transporting materials (HTMs) based on the 10H, 10 ' H-9,9 '-spirobi [acridine] core (BSA50 and BSA51) were synthesized, and their electronic properties were explored. Experimental and theoretical studies show that the presence of rigid 3,6-dimethoxy- ...

Organic-inorganic lead halide perovskites with over 23% power conversion efficiency have attracted enormous academic and industrial attention due to their low-cost fabrication and high device performance. Self-passivated tin oxide as an electron transport ...

The production cross section of a top quark pair in association with a photon is measured in proton-proton collisions in the decay channel with two oppositely charged leptons (e(+/-)mu(-/+), e(+)e(-), or mu(+)mu(-)). The measurement is performed using 138 ...

The development of a scalable chemical bath deposition (CBD) process facilitates the realization of electrontransporting layers (ETLs) for large-area perovskite solar modules (PSMs). Herein, a method to prepare a uniform and scalable thick Zn2SnO4 ETL by C ...

Perovskite solar modules have been attracting increasing attention due to their market potential, yet publications concerned with theintrinsic scale-up potential of different perovskite compositions remain relatively scarce. On the other hand, while great ...

BACKGROUND: Abnormalities in cardiac energy metabolism occur in heart failure (HF) and contribute to contractile dysfunction, but their role, if any, in HF-related pathologic remodeling is much less established. CK (creatine kinase), the primary muscle ene ...

Organic hole-transporting materials (HTMs) based on the Ullazine core yield so far only moderate power conversion efficiencies of up to 13.08% in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Aiming to fabricate efficient and stable PSCs, novel Ullazine derivatives beari ...
