Luisa Pastore is a Scientific Project Manager at the intersection of sustainable design, technology, and social impact. Experienced in developing and managing complex international programs bridging academia, foundations, policy and industry. Since 2022, she has been in charge of the management of SWICE, a trans- and interdisciplinary 8-year-long research project aimed to explore and test sustainable social change practices and technological solutions towards the Swiss energy transition.She also works for the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction where she oversees different programs offered by the Foundation to promote and democratize the latest leading-edge thinking and best practice on sustainable design and construction from around the globe.With a background in Architectural Engineering, Luisa specialised in sustainable architecture, bioclimatic design and comfort in buildings through a PhD from the University of Palermo (2013) followed by a Post-doc at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Performance-Integrated Design (LIPID) of EPFL (2014-2019).
