Current Work Our research centres on the development of new NMR spectroscopy experiments to determine the atomic-level structure and dynamics of complex materials and molecular systems, to solve a range of problems across disciplines. Principles of Hyperpolarization Basic and advanced NMR - Level 1 A (EPFL) CH-601(x) Basic theoretical and experimental aspects of NMR will be taught. Students will be familarized with modern NMR spectrometers. Basic and advanced NMR - Level 2 (EPFL) CH-703 The goal is to give a sound theoretical and practical foundation in NMR for various applications in research. PhD students and post-docs who have followed the course successfully should be able to perform modern multi-dimensional NMR experiments independently. Experimental physical chemistry CH-349 Experiments related to physical chemistry courses. Structural analysis CH-314 The aim of this course is to treat three of the major techniques for structural characterization of molecules used in chemistry and chemical engineering: mass spectrometry, NMR, and X-ray techniques.
