We demonstrate the ability of a multimode fiber probe to provide two-photon fluorescence (TPF) imaging feedback that guides the femtosecond laser ablation (FLA) in biological samples for highly selective modifications. We implement the system through the p ...

Imaging the inner ear microanatomy is of great importance for the assessment of the state of the cells responsible for sound detection. Hearing disorders are mainly due to a malfunction of the cochlea, the bone containing the cells inside the inner ear. Un ...

We report an innovative technique for the visualization of cells through an overlying scattering medium by combining femtosecond laser bone ablation and two-photon excitation fluorescence (TPEF) microscopy. We demonstrate the technique by imaging hair cell ...

Inner ear imaging is important for the assessment of hearing disorders. A major cause of hearing loss is the damage to the sensory hair cells, which are located inside the cochlea, a spiral-shaped bone in the inner ear. Imaging of intracochear hair cells i ...

We report our recent efforts on the realization and characterization of a conductive polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) microstructure containing liquid crystals (LC). The sample has been realized by means of a layer by layer strategy. An indium tin oxide (ITO) l ...

We report on the fabrication and characterization of a new generation of electro-switchable optofluidic devices based on flexible substrates, combined with the extraordinary properties of reconfigurable soft-materials. A conductive polydimethylsiloxane mic ...

We performed near-diffraction limited two-photon fluorescence (TPF) imaging through a lensless, multicore-fiber (MCF) endoscope utilizing digital phase conjugation. The phase conjugation technique is compatible with commercially available MCFs with high co ...
