We demonstrate opto-spintronics using Fe-doped Indium Phosphide (InP). The method is based on optical orientation of InP conduction electron spins which are electrically detected in planar InP/oxide/Ni tunnel spin filters. We separate the optical excitatio ...

The Dynamic nuclear polarisation (DNP) enhanced nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) results presented in this thesis demonstrate the functionality of a tunable and switchable gyrotron operating at 260 GHz with a 9 T spectrometer. This gyrotron was designed at ...

Hyperpolarized nuclear spins are observed in optically pumped iron-doped InP from 70 K to 140 K. P-31 NMR was carried out at 9.28 T (159.8 MHz) during optical excitation with circularly polarized light, using a laser diode (lambda-830 nm) as a source. The ...

Hyperpolarization in diamond via dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) has attracted a lot of interest for various applications as diamond exhibits extremely long C-13 spin relaxation times and has endogenous polarizing agents in the form of crystalline defec ...

An increase in Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) signal intensity is obtained with a tunable gyrotronproducing frequency modulation around 260 GHz at power levels less than 1W. The sweep rate of frequency modulation can reach 14 kHz, and its amplitude is ...
