We report the results of a search for the rare, purely leptonic decay B- -> mu(-)(nu) over bar (mu) performed with a 711 fb(-1) data sample that contains 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs, collected near the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at ...

The first observation of the decay B-s(0) -> phi(K) over bar*(0) is reported. The analysis is based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb(-1) of p p collisions at root s = 7 TeV, collected with the LHCb detector. A yield of 3 ...

We report the first measurement of the differential cross section for the process gamma gamma -> eta eta in the kinematic range above the eta eta threshold, 1.096 GeV < W < 3.8 GeV over nearly the entire solid angle range, vertical bar cos theta*vertical b ...

The experimental results on the ratios of branching fractions R(D) = B((B) over bar -> D tau(-)(nu) over bar (tau))/B((B) over bar -> Dl(-)(nu) over bar (e)) and R(D*) = B((B) over bar -> Dtau(-)(nu) over bar (tau))/B((B) over bar -> Dtau(-)(nu) over bar ...

We study charmless B+ meson decays to the p Lambda pi(+)pi(-) final state using a 605 fb(-1) data sample collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. There are significant signals found wit ...

The first observation of the decay B-0 -> D-0(D) over bar K-0(+)pi(-) is reported using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.7 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb experiment in 2011, 2012 and 2016. The measurement is perform ...

We have searched for lepton flavor violating semileptonic τ- decays using a data sample of 153.8 fb-1 accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider. For the six decay modes studied, the observed yield is compatible with the estimated backgr ...

The resonant substructure of B-s(0) -> (D) over bar K-0(-)pi(+) decays is studied using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb(-1) of pp collision data recorded by the LHCb detector. An excess at m((D) over bar K-0(-)) approximat ...

Bose-Einstein correlations for same-sign charged pions and kinematic b (b) over bar correlations in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 and 8 TeV are studied by the LHCb experiment. The dependence of Bose-Einstein correlation parameter ...

We report the first observation of the radiative decay of the Upsilon(1S) into a charmonium state. The significance of the observed signal of Upsilon(1S) -> gamma chi(c1) is 6.3 standard deviations including systematics. The branching fraction is calculate ...

A new baryon state is observed in the Lambda(0)(b)pi(+)pi(-) mass spectrum with high significance using a data sample of pp collisions, collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies root s = 7, 8 and 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated lum ...

The LHCb detector is a forward spectrometer at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. The experiment is designed for precision measurements of CP violation and rare decays of beauty and charm hadrons. In this paper the performance of the various LHCb sub ...

Using a proton-proton collision data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1) collected by LHCb at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, about 3800 Xi(0)(b) -> Xi(+)(c)pi(-), Xi(+)(c) -> pK(-)pi(+) signal decays are reconstructed. Fro ...

The relative production rate of B-s(0) and B-0 mesons is determined with the hadronic decays B-s(0) -> D-s(-)pi(+) and B-0 -> D- K+. The measurement uses data corresponding to 1.0 fb(-1) of pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 7 TeV recorde ...

The Lambda K-+(c)- mass spectrum is studied with a data sample of pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.6 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb experiment. Three Xi(0)(c) states are observed with a large s ...

The production cross-section of J/psi pairs is measured using a data sample of pp collisions collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of root s = 13TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 279 +/- 11 pb(-1). The measurement is p ...

A search for D 0 meson decays to the π + π − e + e − and K + K − e + e − final states is reported using a sample of proton-proton collisions collected by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of ...

Using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb(-1), recorded by the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, the B-c(+) -> (DK+)-K-0 decay is observed with a statistical significance of 5.1 standard d ...

We report a measurement of the branching fraction of B+ -> tau(+) nu(tau) decays using a data sample of 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs, collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. We rec ...
