Advanced general chemistry (for SFU) UNIL-160 The aim of this course is to acquire the essential concepts relating to the structure of matter and chemical reactivity. The course and the series of exercises provide the methodology for solving typical general chemistry problems by reasoning and calculation. Analytical separation methods CH-301 Students understand the physico-chemical principles of chromatographic and electrophoretic separation methods Analytical separation methods TP (for SFU) UNIL-303 This laboratory work aims to illustrate the analytical separation methods course as well as to accustom the students with the qualitative and quantitative aspects of analytical chemistry.The number of proposed experiements depend on the number of incoming students. Chemistry Laboratory (for SFU) UNIL-128 The objective of these labs is to familiarize the student with the techniques of basic manipulations and with the classical and instrumental methods of analysis. The laboratory work is also an illustration of the concepts of chemistry described in the courses during fall semester Chemistry Laboratory Work I CH-108(a) The student will learn how to work in a chemistry laboratory. He/she will acquire a quantitative and/or qualitative approach. TP carried out are in relation to the courses of chemistry and will be followed by a second part "TP2".
