This paper reports a novel methodology to design broadband orthomode transducers with two arbitrarily spaced ports carrying orthogonal linear polarizations. The component is based on a combination of two Boifot junctions through a series of power dividers ...

A one-dimensional acoustic negative refractive index metamaterial based on the transmission line approach is presented. This structure implements the dual transmission line concept extensively investigated in microwave engineering. It consists of an acoust ...

A direct integration algorithm for the evaluation of Sommerfeld integrals is presented. This algorithm does not require the deformation of the integration path to avoid spectral singularities. The integration is performed along the real axis only. The algo ...

This study proposes a compact dual-polarised directive radiator whose complex prototyping is enabled by additive manufacturing. In addition to monolithic implementation, stereolitography followed by metal coating, it also provides high radio-frequency perf ...

An analytical formula for the shape derivative of the magnetic field integral equation (MFIE) method of moments (MoM) system matrix (or impedance matrix) is derived and validated against finite difference formulas. The motivation for computing the shape de ...

In this paper, two THz reflectarray surfaces have been designed and fabricated in order to deflect a plane wave with any polarization and with a specific incident angle to three different specific directions each at distinct three frequencies of 0.7, 1.0 a ...

A low-profile multi-function antenna system suitable for small satellites is presented in this paper. The antenna system operates at UHF frequency band (400 MHz) and comprises eight miniaturised radiating elements (REs) based on a folded planar inverted-F ...

In this paper, we present further improvements in the subdomain multilevel approach (SMA), one of the techniques used for fast full-wave analysis of large printed antennas and circuits. The time for filling the method of moments (MoM) matrix is improved in ...
