Teaching & PhD PhD Students Maël Dagon Past EPFL PhD Students as codirector Sebastiano Merzaghi, Chafic Abu Antoun, Florian Louis Copt, Sofia Lydia Ntella Courses Actuators and Electromagnetic systems I MICRO-313 The course covers the main methods for the analysis of electromechanical systems. A study of magnetic physical quantities is followed by the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy. The permanent magnet is studied macroscopically. The dynamic aspect of the system is seen at the end. Actuators and Electromagnetic systems II MICRO-314 The students will be able to model, simulate and measure actuators and electrical motors Embedded motor control MICRO-510 The student will be able to design, implement and program a motor control electronic. He will know how to apply the theory of motor control to real systems.
