This lecture explores the optimization of thermal fluid design for solar redox flow batteries, focusing on the modeling of fluid dynamics and thermal effects to enhance the electron-time performance of the cell. It addresses challenges in solar redox flow batteries and proposes new cell geometries and redox-spatial distribution optimizations, as well as investigates the impact of temperature on battery performance.
