This lecture covers the architectures for parallel databases, including Shared Memory, Shared Disk, and Shared Nothing. Shared Memory involves nodes sharing RAM and disk, Shared Disk allows all nodes to access the same disks, and Shared Nothing consists of clusters of machines with their own memory and disk.
