This lecture presents a Bachelor's project conducted within the SP80 association, aiming to develop a sailboat capable of breaking the world speed record by reaching 80 knots. The project focuses on integrating a camera to allow the rear drivers to see the kite, essential for steering the boat. The process involved researching and selecting a camera meeting specific requirements, such as field of view, water resistance, and low latency. Additionally, an appropriate waterproof screen was chosen, both components to be connected through a central computer. The mechanical integration of the camera on the boat involved shortening the tube, conducting vibration tests, and designing a mount on the rotating turret to follow the kite's movement. The lecture concludes with a demonstration of the camera's viewpoint.
