This lecture presents the study and design of a Fram damper, a device used to limit vibrations and prevent the appearance of natural vibration modes in structures, illustrated through a scaled model of a building with a pendulum mass. The lecture covers the construction process, the use of sensors for real-time position tracking, the modeling of vibrations using Autodesk Inventor and Matlab, and the development of an Android application for visualizing the effects of the damper.
