Description

This lecture showcases how Thymio, a robot, can be utilized straight out of the box, allowing interaction from a young age. The video presents pre-programmed behaviors discovered by students in a school setting, including both nine-year-olds and four-year-olds with teacher guidance. After analyzing the video, viewers are presented with two additional activities: differentiating classroom robot usage examples and sharing experiences in an online space.

An industrial robot is a robot system used for manufacturing. Industrial robots are automated, programmable and capable of movement on three or more axes. Typical applications of robots include welding, painting, assembly, disassembly, pick and place for printed circuit boards, packaging and labeling, palletizing, product inspection, and testing; all accomplished with high endurance, speed, and precision.
